Informed and involved with green initiatives
Some people feel the best way to prevent deforestation is to stop using forest products. In reality, 90% of global deforestation occurs because of demand for land. The initiatives of the printing, paper, and forestry industries are the primary supporters of essential reforestation programs. Young growing trees create more net oxygen than mature forests, so Forestry Councils harness market demand to ensure forests are managed and planted.
